Jagran correspondent, Varanasi. On the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, a unique and innovative spiritual initiative has been launched by Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust, Varanasi. Under this initiative, the tradition of offering holy prasad, worshiped clothes, rags, holy water and devotional gifts from major Jyotirlingas, Siddhapeethas, Shaktipeeths and ancient pilgrimage sites of the country and abroad at the feet of Lord Shri Vishweshwar Mahadev has been started.
The purpose of this spiritual coordination is to give concrete shape to the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam by uniting the entire Sanatan Samaj and strengthening global spiritual unity.
Sacred offerings have reached so far from 62 temples
In this context, till Saturday, Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham has received holy offerings and offerings from a total of 62 temples at home and abroad. These temples include devotees from Tamil Nadu, Sri Ratnagiriswarar Temple Chennai, Sri Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple Chennai, Ten Sabnayakar Temple Kovilur, Arulmigu Vamanpurafeshwarar Tirumanikuzhi, Arulmigu Draupadi Amman Temple, Arulmigu Reena Vimoshanar Tirukandiswara, Arulmigu Tiru Sangari Kali Amman Vazhapet, Arulmigu Bhuloga Nathar Nellikuppam, Arulmigu Bhuminath Iswarar Vaitipakkam, Sri Madurai Veeran Temple.

Holy Prasad and offerings have also reached Kashi Vishwanath Dham from Shri Kedarnath from Uttarakhand, Lal Bagh Raja and Shri Siddhivinayak Temple from Mumbai, Dwarkadhish Temple from Gujarat, Shri Aishwarya Lakshmi Temple Colombo from Sri Lanka and Nathdwara Temple Udaipur from Rajasthan.
Sacred materials include water, urine, clothes and flowers.
These offerings include holy water from various pilgrimage sites, garlands of flowers worshiped in temples, sandalwood, clothes and other worshipable materials. This entire process has emerged as a living symbol of the spiritual unity of the Sanatan tradition.
The order continues through couriers and representatives
Apart from this, Prasad is being sent from many temples through courier medium, while representatives of some reputed temples are going to visit the Dham themselves with the holy offering. Thus, this event is not just a religious ritual but is being established as an emotional, cultural and spiritual bridge between the entire nation and various places of pilgrimage in the world.
