Stray dog bites woman in Vasant Kunj area of Delhi. Awakening
Jagran correspondent, South Delhi. A woman was bitten and injured by a stray dog in South Delhi's Vasant Kunj. In the month of January alone, 15 people have been victimized by stray dogs.
A woman was bitten by a stray dog while leaving her home in Vasant Kunj DDA Flat Sector-E Pocket 1 on Wednesday morning. Hearing the scream, people nearby chased away the dog and saved the woman. Earlier in the morning, the dog had also attacked a domestic help, who saved her life by running away and entering the house.
People say that in January itself, stray dogs have made around 15 people of the society their victims. Regarding this, RWAs and local people are continuously complaining to the officials and departments, but no officials are ready to listen.

RWA officials say that every child and elderly are afraid to come out of their homes. On the other hand, the reply received from MCD officials is that they do not have any space to keep the dogs.
