Jagran correspondent, Bareilly. On the complaint of villagers in Izzatnagar area, police have detained two suspected Kashmiris. He was begging in Dhimri village. The police interrogated him for several hours, but he did not open his mouth. He was only saying that he is very poor and earns his living by begging, whereas his physical structure appeared strong. Along with the police, intelligence agencies are also continuously interrogating him. Police say that prima facie he appears suspicious.
Two Kashmiri youths reached Dhimri village of Ahladpur outpost area of Izzatnagar police station on Saturday morning, begging at people's homes. People recognized him by his language and way of speaking. When the people of the village complained about the matter on the X handle of the police, the Izzatnagar police reached the village in search of them.
For the first time, when both the Kashmiris saw the police, they entered the crowd to escape from them and started offering Namaz. The police made many efforts to find him but he could not be found. After some time, the villagers informed the police again and said that he was seen again in the village. On this the police caught both of them. During interrogation, both of them revealed their names as Shaukat Ali and Sajjad.
Both are residents of Poonch in Kashmir. The police brought both of them to the police station and started interrogating them harshly. When the police found the matter serious, they informed the intelligence agencies also. The intelligence agencies reached the police station and interrogated both of them. During interrogation so far, he told that there is a mosque in the village and he comes to that only.
He had come many years ago also. This time he came to Bareilly on 10 December. Since then he has been staying in the same village. The question is that if he came then why did no one in the village recognize him? Intelligence agencies are continuously questioning both of them but they are not ready to speak. Intelligence agencies say that something special may be found soon.
Information sent to Kashmir Police for verification of both
As soon as both were taken into custody, the Local Intelligence Unit (LIU) also arrived. They have sent both the suspects to Kashmir Police with their photographs and Aadhar cards. Information about both has been sought with immediate effect. This will also make it clear whether both the documents are correct or not. If anything suspicious is found, both will be sent to jail.
Two suspected Kashmiris have been detained. Both are being interrogated. Intelligence agencies have also been informed about this. She is also interrogating him. Till now both of them have not told anything specific.
