Digital Desk, New Delhi. There has been information about fighting in student organizations in JNU late on Sunday night. It is alleged that students of leftist ideology have attacked ABVP students with weapons, iron rods and sticks. It is also being told that many have been injured in this conflict.

Sharing information about this on social media, @ABVPVoice wrote, "Brutal violence in JNU! Students have been badly injured in the shocking attack by left-linked groups. Their only "mistake" was that they were studying peacefully in the library.

This is not politics. This is cowardly, targeted violence against students who came here to study, not to get attacked. How long will ideological goons be allowed to terrorize the campus? We demand immediate arrest and strict action. Delhi Police take action now. The safety of students cannot wait.

JNUSU Joint Secretary, ABVP, Vaibhav Meena said, "The left wing strike has been going on here for the last 7-8 days. The kind of terror they have spread throughout the night, they went to schools and a mob of 300-400 masked people chased away students from study rooms. Vijay was mob lynched by a mob of 100-150 people. Delhi Police did nothing, we condemn it. Are."

JNU media convener, ABVP, Vijay Jaiswal said, "These left-wing people who were protesting for 7 days, today they targeted ABVP workers and students... Around 100-150 people were mob lynched. Delhi Police and JNU security guards were also present, but they did not take any action. This was pre-planned. These were masked people. We demand that JNU The administration should take action against all those involved in this."

Demand for resignation from vice chancellor

It is noteworthy that student politics has heated up in Jawaharlal Nehru University over the alleged statement of Vice Chancellor Shantishree D. Pandit. On Sunday night, the student union took out a 'Samata procession' on the campus demanding resignation and accountability from the Vice-Chancellor, while the strike of the expelled officials is also continuing.

Student leaders allege that the Vice-Chancellor made objectionable remarks on a particular section of the society, terming the UGC's equity regulation as unnecessary, which has hurt the inclusive tradition of the university. Meanwhile, a violent clash has come to light between student organizations late at night.
