The US Supreme Court issued three decisions on Wednesday, but did not rule on the legality of the global tariffs. The court has not announced the next date for pronouncing the verdict. The upcoming decision will affect the global economy.
During a hearing on the case on November 5, conservative and liberal judges cast doubt on the legality of the tariffs.
It was implemented by Trump by citing a 1977 law, which was created for use during national emergencies. The Trump administration is fighting trial court rulings that say they abused their jurisdiction.
