Survey Started Regarding Action Plan For Safe Traffic In Ghaziabad, There Will Be Relief From Traffic Jam

Jagran correspondent, Ghaziabad. GDA has taken an important step towards making the city's traffic system smooth, safe and modern. In order to reduce the traffic pressure at major intersections and junctions of the authority area, a detailed survey for junction improvement is being conducted by UMTC (Urban Metro Transport Company Limited).

The technical team of UMTC reached the selected junction of the authority area and conducted a thorough study of various aspects related to traffic, road structure, vehicular pressure during peak hours, pedestrian convenience and safety. The objective of the survey is to prepare scientific and practical solutions, which can provide permanent relief from the problem of traffic jam in future and also improve the appearance of the city.

The survey is being conducted in the presence of authority officials. Based on the report to be submitted by UMTC, short term and long term action plan for junction improvements will be made. This will include traffic signal improvements, lane management, road marking, footpath construction and other necessary traffic improvement measures.

GDA Vice President Nand Kishore Kalal said that it is the priority of the authority to provide better transportation facilities and a beautiful city to the city residents. Continuous efforts are being made to make Ghaziabad a city with modern traffic system by working in a planned manner with the help of expert institutions.
