Jagran correspondent, Bairia (Ballia). The thieves stole a woman's mobile phone, Rs 5,000 in cash, a pair of gold earrings and a mangalsutra from in front of the Indian Bank in Bairiya Bazaar.

When the woman started crying, a crowd gathered and ran away. The incident occurred at 1 o'clock on Saturday. Rekha Yadav, daughter of Girgit Yadav, resident of Dubhar, had come to Bairiya doctor for the treatment of her mother.

She was going on foot towards the east from the tempo stand to the doctor. By then two young men started following him. When the woman reached near the Indian Bank, she suddenly said that you can make people see Lord Ganesha in person. All sorrows and poverty will go away with the darshan.

Both the women stood up after listening to the youth. One of the young men said, take out your earring and put it in your fist. Ganesh ji will be seen in front of you. Rekha took out an earring and clenched her fist and asked where Lord Ganesha was seen.

On this the thugs said that perhaps there is less gold in it, so keep the other earring in it too. Similarly, after closing the earrings and mangalsutra in the fist, he was asked to open them again.

Meanwhile, in a dramatic manner, the thieves took away the mangalsutra, earrings, mobile phone and Rs 5000 kept in the purse of the woman and ran away. When the mother and daughter started crying after the incident, some people nearby sent them to the police post. The police is investigating the case.
