State Bureau, Patna. Bihar Politics: On Sunday, the National Executive of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) will discuss the next strategy of the organization along with the current situation of the country.
For this purpose, about two hundred and fifty representatives will participate in the meeting called under the chairmanship of Supremo Lalu Prasad. The working president of the party can also be announced in this meeting.
Due to ill health, Lalu is not able to remain as active as expected in organizational activities and meetings etc. In such a situation, there is a need for a working president for the party. The decision has to be taken by Lalu, who has not revealed his cards yet.
The position will remain in the family
This is a position for which no one outside the family can even hope. Lalu's first choice in the family is Rabri Devi, but she has refused. Such sources are telling.
After that, Lalu can put forward the name of either Tejashwi Yadav or Misa Bharti. Tejashwi is being said to be ahead in this competition.
The meeting will be held at Hotel Morya and members of the National Executive as well as presidents of all state units, MPs and MLAs are invited.
National General Secretary Bhola Yadav gave this information. Preparations for the meeting were reviewed at the party's state office on Saturday.
Formation of committees for the meeting
State spokesperson Chittaranjan Gagan said that to make the meeting successful, various committees have been formed and responsibilities have been assigned to senior leaders. By Saturday evening, presidents of more than 20 states and members of the National Executive had reached Patna.
There is a situation of frustration in RJD after the defeat in Bihar assembly elections. Through this meeting, discussions can be held on rescuing the party from this and preparing it according to the circumstances of the new era.
RJD's core support base is in Bihar only. In such a situation, Bihar will be the focus of the strategy or movement to be decided. There can also be advice on giving important responsibilities to more and more active people in the organization.
