Samvad Sutra, Karjain Bazar (Supaul). This time there is a possibility of lunar eclipse (Chandra Grahan Kab Lagega 2026) on Phalgun Purnima. The combination of eclipse is Khandagraas. On Tuesday, March 3, Sparsh will start at 5:50 pm and Moksha will start at 6:46 pm (Chandra Grahan Timing).

Throwing light on the scientific and spiritual mystery of the lunar eclipse, Acharya Pandit Dharmendranath Mishra said that the lunar eclipse occurs on the full moon day. A lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth comes between the Sun and the Moon and the Moon passes through the Earth's shadow.

When the Moon reaches the Earth's penumbra while moving on its path, there is no special change, but as soon as it comes close to the penumbra, an eclipse begins to appear. When their entire circle comes within the shadow then a total lunar eclipse or total eclipse occurs.

While referring to the mythological Shruti, Acharya said that a demon named Rahu enters the Earth's shadow during the lunar eclipse period and causes pain to the Moon, hence it is also called Rahukrit eclipse. During this period, performing rituals like bathing, charity, chanting, home etc. relieves the pain caused by Rahugrah.

Follow the rules during eclipse

Acharya Dharmendranath Mishra informed that during the eclipse, food, sleeping, milking cows, field trips, cutting down plants, moving, giving up feces and urine, touching the idol of the gods is forbidden.

Also, by bathing in Ganga or normal water, donating, chanting, performing Homa and performing Shraddha for the happiness of ancestors, one gets infinite results.
