Jagran correspondent, outer Delhi. The police are still empty handed in the case of Rachna Yadav, who was shot dead in the head in Shalimar Bagh area last Saturday. As a result, the scope of police investigation is increasing. Police teams have so far checked more than 200 CCTV cameras within a 12-km radius of the Delhi-Haryana border.

An officer of the investigation team said that the police have raided six to seven places from Delhi to Haryana. The scope of investigation may extend beyond Delhi and Haryana to other states also. The police team is also considering the land dispute related to Rachna Yadav, her testimony in her husband's murder case and many other aspects.

An officer of the investigation team said that the investigation so far shows that a notorious gang could be behind this murder. It is suspected that someone had hired a gang shooter to carry out the murder. The way the criminals committed the crime, then left their motorcycle in Rohini area and fled towards Haryana in other vehicles, it seems that they were not amateur criminals.

An investigating officer said that the criminal who fled on the back of the motorcycle was captured in several CCTV cameras, and the investigation team has clear CCTV footage of the suspect. The official also said that many media reports about AI image creation are wrong. Police investigation is continuing on the basis of CCTV footage. Meanwhile, the victim's family is demanding that the culprits be caught as soon as possible and given strict punishment.
