The Havoc Of Siberian Winds! Melting Increased In Kanpur, Now There Will Be Relief From Sunlight

Jagran correspondent, Kanpur. The cold air coming from Siberia (Siberian High) is having a direct impact here. This is the reason why it is freezing cold despite the sun being out during the day. The day and night temperatures increased on Friday, but as the evening approached, the coldness increased due to the bone-chilling cold wind.

Due to increase in day temperature, Friday came out of the scope of cold day. Now there may be mist and fog in the morning and evening but with sunshine during the day, the speed of northwest wind is likely to reduce. This will provide relief from the harsh winter.

Meteorologist Dr. SN Sunil Pandey said that the Siberian High has a deep impact on the weather of India. Due to this the temperature drops and dense fog occurs. It originates from a high pressure system called the 'Siberian High' and sometimes blows in, despite being blocked by the Himalayas, making the weather even colder. Migratory birds have also been coming to India to escape this cold.

Due to the western disturbance over Punjab, the fog layer has weakened on Friday. Due to the influence of western disturbance, there has been a change in the speed and direction of the wind. Due to this, the weather is expected to remain dry till January 11 and the fog will gradually reduce.

On Friday, the day's maximum temperature increased from 15.4 on Thursday to 17.5 degrees Celsius, which is 1.8 degrees below normal. The minimum temperature was 5.6 degrees. This was also 1.6 degrees less than normal. The maximum level of humidity in the weather on Friday was also 97 percent while the average wind speed was 2.9 km per hour.

The temperature remained like this in a week
