Jagran correspondent, outer Delhi. Bike riding miscreants snatched the mobile phone from a woman walking on foot in Police Station Adarsh Nagar area. Before the victim could understand anything, the accused fled. On the complaint of the victim, Agarshan Nagar police station has registered a case under relevant sections and started investigation. The accused are being traced from the CCTV footage installed around the incident site.
According to the information, the victim Shilpa lives with her family in Jahangirpuri. Who works as a cook in many houses located in Adarsh Nagar. In the complaint given to the police, Shilpa told that after finishing work at around 6 pm on December 23, she was going from Lord Krishna Road in Adarsh Nagar while talking to her husband on mobile.
Then two youths came from behind on a black bike, the person sitting behind snatched the mobile phone from their hands. Before she could understand anything, the accused ran away rapidly towards Rajan Babu Road. He also raised an alarm, but by then it was too late.
Assurance of arresting the accused soon
Shilpa told that the young man riding the bike was wearing a helmet, while the young man sitting behind the bike was wearing a hoodie. On the complaint of the woman, the police have registered a case under relevant sections and started investigation. Efforts are being made to trace the accused from the CCTV cameras installed around the incident spot. Police say that they will soon trace the accused.
