LG VK Saxena named 'Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sadbhavna Udyan'.
State Bureau, New Delhi. On the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, LG VK Saxena named 'Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sadbhavna Udyan'. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also participated during this period. He has dedicated 11 acres of lush green space as a permanent tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Earlier its name was Sadbhavana Park. A statue of the former Prime Minister will also be installed here soon. The LG and the Chief Minister appealed to the people to come here to spend time with their friends and family. enjoy nature. Chief Secretary Rajeev Verma and many senior officials of DDA were also present on this occasion. This park is located on the Ring Road opposite Rajghat. It has formal lawns, white marble walkways, shady eating places, public facilities like fountains, toilets and open recreation areas. The main attraction here is a magnificent statue, which depicts five white horses. This statue is surrounded by a water pond and fountains, which further enhances the beauty of the park. DDA officials said that a clock tower is also being built to enhance the beauty of the park. Additionally, a proposed food van facility near the parking area will provide refreshment options to the visitors. It is part of a larger landscape redevelopment project. The scheme includes a green belt spread over an area of 35 acres, approximately 1.7 km in length along the Ring Road.
