Samvad Sutra, Jagran, Bithri Chainpur. A high speed tractor-trolley coming for illegal mining crushed a mother and daughter. Both of them died on the spot. After the accident, the driver fled with the tractor trolley. A crowd gathered at the incident site causing a traffic jam. Police is busy searching for the accused tractor-trolley driver.
Pushpa, a resident of Sahajanpur village of Bithrichainpur, had gone to throw garbage in the village. His five year old daughter Shweta also left behind him. While returning, the minor son of Jasveer of the same village was coming at a high speed after filling soil in the tractor trolley after mining from Bahgulpur. Suddenly Pushpa's daughter came in front of the tractor and the driver could not control the vehicle.
The tractor wheel ran over him. After this, the driver ran the tractor over Pushpa who ran to save him and fled away. Mother and daughter died on the spot in the accident. As soon as information about the incident was received, the entire village gathered. The police was immediately informed, the police sent both of them to CHC but the doctors also declared them dead.
The relatives allege that the son of Jasveer of the village has deliberately murdered both of them. Police have deployed a team to search for the tractor trolley and driver. No information has been received about him yet. The relative also accused the driver of being intoxicated. In this matter, Bithrichainpur police station in-charge Chandra Prakash Shukla says that a complaint letter has been received. On the basis of that FIR is being registered.
Despite repeated complaints, illegal mining is not being stopped.
Villagers including Guddu, Ramniwas, Thaneswar say that the game of illegal mining is going on in many villages including Sahajanpur, Mehtarpur Crore, Bahagulpur, Khajuria. Despite complaining several times, the officials are not ready to take any action. The mining tractor-trolleys run at high speed day and night.
Many accidents have been avoided, but on Friday two people lost their lives due to this mining. The villagers say that the SDM had come a few days ago. Mining was banned for some time but then the situation has become the same as before.
