Jagran correspondent, Bahraich. A wolf took away a three-year-old child from his mother's lap at around 4 am on Monday morning in Rasoolpur Bareta village of Fakharpur area. As long as the mother kept chasing me making noise. By then the wolf had disappeared from the mother's eyes. On receiving the information, the forest department and local villagers are busy searching for the child. Till now no trace of the child has been found.
Village resident Nankai lives at home with her two children. On Monday morning, Nankai was feeding milk to her three-year-old son Anshu in the verandah, when suddenly a wolf attacked, caught the child and ran away.
The mother chased the wolf making noise, but after chasing for about a hundred meters the animal disappeared due to dense fog. The villagers immediately informed the local police and forest department about the matter. DFO Ramsingh Yadav reached the spot and started patrolling along with the forest workers and laid siege.
DFO said that teams are engaged in the search. On receiving the information, Ranger Omkar Yadav reached the spot along with forest personnel. The Forest Department team and local villagers are together searching for the innocent child.
Principal representative Riyaz also confirmed the incident and said that the forest department, police team and villagers are together searching for the child. After the incident, the child's mother is in bad condition and crying. The innocent's father Ram Manohar has also been informed about the incident.
