Now Bulandshahr-Anupshahr State Highway will be made four lane. With the strengthening of the road network, traffic will gain new momentum.
The central and state governments are laying a network of roads. The state government had recently asked for an action plan to make the state highway four lane. The provincial section has prepared an action plan to make Bulandshahr-Anupshahr State Highway four-lane and sent it to the government. As of now, Bulandshahr-Anupshahr State Highway is double lane. There is high vehicular pressure on Bulandshahr-Anupshahr State Highway. Devotees coming to take bath in Ganga during Kanwar Yatra and festivals have to face problems. 20-25 thousand vehicles pass on the state highway every day.
70 crores will be spent on making eight kilometers four lane
The provincial section will four-lane an eight-kilometre stretch of the Bulandshahr-Anupshahr State Highway. An amount of Rs 70 crore will be spent on making the eight kilometer stretch four lane. A divider will also be made in the middle of the road. Also, land is already available near the provincial section. Due to which the traffic will be able to speed up in its direction. As soon as the action plan is approved by the government and the estimate is approved, the work of four-laning the state highway will start.
The work of making the road four lane from Tehsil Tiraha to DAV Tiraha will start soon.
The provincial section is working seriously to make the city roads four-lane. Due to which some relief has started from the traffic jam in the city. Before this, an eight kilometer stretch of Meerut-Badaun State Highway from DAV Tiraha to Mirzapur has been made four lane. Also, the work of making the road four lane from Tehsil Tiraha to DAV Tiraha will start soon. The road network is becoming stronger in the district.
An action plan has been sent to four-lane the eight kilometer stretch of Bulandshahr-Anupshahr State Highway from Bulandshahr to Sahakari Nagar. An amount of Rs 70 crore will be spent to make the road four lane. The government had asked for an action plan for the widening of the state highway. After receiving funds from the government, the work of making the road four-lane will be started.
