Jagran correspondent, Samastipur. Samastipur To Mumbai Journey: Traveling to Mumbai is now going to be easier and more comfortable than ever for the travelers of Samastipur. Keeping in mind the convenience of passengers, Indian Railways has announced the regular operation of Panvel-Alipurduar Amrit Bharat Express, which will start from 23rd February.
This premium class non-air conditioned train will run via DDU–Patliputra–Hajipur–Muzaffarpur–Samastipur–Khagaria–Mansi–Katihar route. The fare from Samastipur to Panvel (Mumbai) has been fixed at ₹880, which will provide great relief to passengers traveling long distances.

Amrit Bharat Express has been designed with modern amenities. The train has been provided with many advanced features like mobile charging port, air spring body for comfortable journey, radium floor strips, disabled-friendly clean toilets, fire detection system, talk-back unit and modern lighting system. For these reasons, this train is considered safer and more comfortable than normal class trains.
train timings in samastipur
Train No. 11031 Panvel – Alipurduar Amrit Bharat Express will depart from Panvel every Monday and reach Samastipur at 10:45 pm on Tuesday.
In return, Train No. 11032 Alipurduar – Panvel Amrit Bharat Express will depart from Alipurduar every Thursday and reach Samastipur at 04:45 pm on Friday. Having stoppages at fixed times will facilitate passengers to plan their journey better.
Fare comparison with other trains
There are currently limited options available from Samastipur to Mumbai. The sleeper fare of 19038 Avadh Express is ₹865, while the sleeper fare of 11062 Pawan Express is ₹770. Although the Amrit Bharat Express fares are slightly higher, the modern amenities, better safety and punctual operations make it an attractive option for passengers.
