Digital Desk, New Delhi. An Indigo plane flying from Delhi has received a bomb threat (Indigo bomb threat). There was panic in the flight after receiving a threat mid-flight. The plane was immediately diverted towards Lucknow airport. The flight made a safe emergency landing in Lucknow at 9:17 am.

Indigo flight 6E 6650 took off from Delhi with 222 passengers. This flight was going to Bagdogra in West Bengal. Then information was received that there was a bomb in the plane.

This Indigo flight was diverted towards Lucknow. This plane landed today (January 18) at 9:17 am at Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport in Lucknow.

According to the airport administration, Air Traffic Control (ATC) had informed about the bomb in the plane at around 8:46 am. Keeping the safety protocols in mind, the plane was landed safely and security agencies immediately swung into action.

Initial investigation revealed that someone had handwritten on tissue paper, "There is a bomb on the plane." This incident created panic in the entire plane. Emergency landing of the flight was done in a hurry.

Threat was written on tissue paper

According to ACP Rajneesh Verma, "Tissue paper was left in the toilet of the flight, on which it was written that there was a bomb in the plane. The plane was going towards Bagdogra. The plane was checked after emergency landing in Lucknow."
