Jagran correspondent, Kaushambi. To pay the installment for expensive hobbies and the vehicle taken on loan, three friends resident of Kanpur started stealing. With the help of one person, all three used to steal metal beams and special parts used in highway construction.

Police sent the accused to jail on Thursday

In the case registered in the case of theft of goods of the organization which is constructing Ram Vanagaman Marg, when the police scanned the footage of the toll plaza of the highway, the faces of the gang members were exposed. The police arrested the three miscreants along with the stolen goods and the vehicle used to transport them and sent them to jail on Thursday.

Case registered in Sandipanghat police station on 28 November

Kaushik son Ranveer Singh, resident of Sarkoriya under Iglas police station of Aligarh, an employee of the organization which is constructing Ram Vanagaman Marg, filed a complaint in Sandipanghat police station on 28th November. Told that metal beams and other special parts installed on the roadside have been stolen. The police registered the report and started investigation. During this, the footage of CCTV cameras of PNC Company and Kataughan Toll Plaza was scrutinized.

Found footage of stolen goods being transported

Police station in-charge Shashikant Mishra said that in the footage, stolen goods were seen being carried from a loader. While exposing the incident on Thursday, SP Rajesh Kumar said that technical evidence was also collected to arrest the thieves. Based on this, on Thursday, during checking near Ram Vanagaman underpass near Basedi, a four-wheeler was seen coming. When the police signaled him to stop, the driver left the car and started running away. The police rushed and arrested the driver and two other people sitting in the car.

These are the youths who were caught

The arrested youth were identified as Vikas alias Annu, son of Puttan, resident of Usri, Rasulabad area of ​​Kanpur Dehat, Pradeep, son of Surendra Chandra, resident of Neebhu and Suchendra, son of late Shivpal Singh. 13 stolen special parts, angles, 160 nuts and bolts, a wrench and two pans were recovered from the loader in which these people were traveling. Apart from this, during the search, Rs 14,700 and four mobile phones were recovered.

Used to steal to spend for fun

During interrogation, Suchendra told that they used to steal iron angles, sheets etc. from the highway being built near Muratganj. They used to steal to pay car installments and spend money on fun. They came in a loader on the night of 26th November. About 25 quintals of iron was stolen by opening the beam and door. 60 thousand rupees were received on selling it. On the night of December 4, again a beam and an iron chahar were stolen which was about 22 quintals. This iron was sold for Rs 52 thousand.

Four cases have been registered against the arrested Suchendra in several districts.

Told that some angle was hidden in the nearby Sarpat, which they were taking. In the money received from the goods sold earlier, two installments of Rs 17700 were deposited for the vehicle. The remaining money was divided among themselves. SP said that Suchendra who was caught is a criminal. Four cases of theft are registered against him in Rae Bareli and Unnao districts. Gangster action has also been taken against him.
