Mother mourning the death of Tilak Raj (right). Awakening
Jagran correspondent, Ara. A 21-year-old youth died, while a woman was seriously injured when a passenger auto went out of control and overturned near Padaria bridge under Charpokhari police station area of Bhojpur district on Thursday afternoon. There was chaos at the spot after the accident.
The deceased has been identified as Tilak Raj (21), son of Dharamraj Sah, resident of Kaup village of Charpokhari police station area. The injured woman has been admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital for treatment.
Accident happened while returning from wedding shopping
Dharamraj Sah, father of the deceased, said that Tilak Raj was returning to his village by auto after purchasing wedding items from Gadhani market on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the auto went out of control and overturned near Padaria bridge. Tilak Raj and a woman were seriously injured in the accident.
Both of them were first taken to Agiaon PHC, from where after first aid they were referred to Ara Sadar Hospital. Tilak Raj died during treatment in the emergency ward of Sadar Hospital.
Allegation of negligence in treatment
On receiving information about the incident, the police reached Sadar Hospital and conducted post-mortem of the body. The father of the deceased has accused the health workers of Sadar Hospital of negligence in treatment.
The funeral pyre was raised before the wedding ceremony.
Tilak Raj was the third among three brothers and two sisters. Her marriage was fixed in Bimwan Hardiya village of Jagdishpur police station area. Tilak was to be held on 18th February and marriage procession was to be held on 24th February.
Wedding preparations were in full swing at home, but this accident turned all the happiness into mourning. The young man's bier got up even before the ceremony was over. After the incident, the entire family including mother Poonam Devi is in a bad condition, crying. A wave of mourning has spread in the village.
