Jagran correspondent, Mau. An uncontrolled speeding bike collided with a tree near Usri Petrol Pump in Dohrighat police station area at around 6 pm on Wednesday evening. In which one died, while the other was seriously injured.
28-year-old Munnu Chauhan, resident of Bhatauli village of Ghosi Ketwali, was going back home from Madi Sipah market with his friend Angad Yadav, 25, resident of Amilha of Doharighat police station area. Meanwhile, the speeding bike went out of control and collided with a tree.
Due to the bike hitting a tree, both of them got seriously injured and fell on the road and started writhing in pain. Passersby saw both of them injured and sent them to the district hospital by ambulance. Here the doctor declared Munnu dead.
When the condition of injured Angad became critical, he was referred to a higher centre. As soon as this information was received, mourning spread among the relatives and the village. As soon as the information was received, a crowd of villagers gathered at the district hospital. The deceased was married in the year 2022. He has a six month old son and a one and a half year old daughter. He used to support his family by working as a labourer.
