Jamshedpur, Jagran correspondent. A painful road accident took place in Sundernagar police station area of East Singhbhum district on Sunday. On the main road leading to Hata, the speeding bike went out of control and collided with the back of a dumper. In this horrific collision, the young man riding the bike died on the spot, while the other young man sitting behind on the bike was seriously injured.
According to eyewitnesses, the speed of the bike was quite fast. As soon as the bike reached near the dumper, the driver could not control the vehicle and rammed directly into the dumper from behind. The collision was so strong that the bike was completely damaged and there was chaos on the road.
As soon as information about the accident was received, Sundernagar police station reached the spot. With the help of local people, the police immediately sent the injured youth to Sadar Hospital. After first aid there, seeing his serious condition, the doctors referred him to MGM Hospital, where his treatment is continuing.
The body of the deceased youth has been taken into custody by the police and sent for post-mortem. Police are trying to identify the deceased and injured and the incident is being investigated. In the initial investigation, speeding and carelessness are being considered as the cause of the accident.
There is an atmosphere of mourning in the area after this accident. Local people have demanded from the administration to make strong road safety arrangements and control the movement of heavy vehicles, so that such incidents can be prevented in future.
