Passengers froze on the platform
Samvad Sutra, Sitamarhi. Fog and cold wave are continuously affecting the railway sections. Most of the trains are continuously reaching Sitamarhi with delay and the passengers are facing problems in the harsh cold. Due to late arrival of trains, passengers have to wait for hours on the platform.
Rich people are seen waiting for trains in the waiting room at the station in warm clothes. At the same time, ordinary passengers are seen shivering on the platform itself, waiting for the train. While waiting for the train, they had to face cold wave and cold for hours.

Trains are continuously arriving late by hours on the Darbhanga-Narkatiyaganj railway section. Amrit Bharat train 15558 operating from Anand Vihar Delhi to Darbhanga via Sitamarhi reaches Sitamarhi at 10:10 in the morning and reaches Darbhanga Junction at 12:05 in the day. This train is expected to arrive late by 17 hours 12 minutes.
Whereas, Raxaul - Darbhanga train number 15515 Sitamarhi arrived late by 01 hour 30 minutes from its scheduled time, 75230 Raxaul - Darbhanga arrived only 23 minutes late on Saturday.
Trains operating between Darbhanga - Raxaul include 22551 Jalandhar Seat Antyodaya Express 022 mins, 55577 Samastipur - Raxaul 01 hrs 30 mins, 13043 Howrah - Raxaul 02 hrs 09 mins, 75229 Darbhanga - Raxaul 01 hrs 06 mins, 17005 Hyderabad - Raxaul 04 hrs. hr 30 min, 15562 Amrit Bharat Express Darbhanga is expected to run late by about 10 hours from its scheduled time.
More than half a dozen up and down trains are said to be reaching Sitamarhi Junction late by 22 minutes to 17 hours.
