Trains Get Protective Cover! Automatic Signaling Work Completed On Gorakhpur-Gonda Railway Section, Now Trains Will Run At A Gallop

Jagran correspondent, Basti. The year-long automatic signaling work on the Gorakhpur-Gonda railway section has been completed, due to which the 138 km long track of North Eastern Railway has now become safe. With this, train journey will also prove to be pleasant.

The work of development, expansion and strengthening of infrastructure on Indian Railways was going on for almost a year for safe, secure and smooth operation of trains as per the demand of passengers. Uday Borvankar, General Manager of North Eastern Railway, was directly supervising it.

According to Pankaj Kumar Singh, Chief Public Relations Officer of NER, the work of commissioning of 12 km automatic block signaling has been successfully completed between Babhnan-Parsa Tiwari and Swami Narayan Chhapia stations located on Gorakhpur-Gonda rail section of Lucknow division.

This work has been completed in a very smooth manner without affecting the train operations. Along with this, 138.57 route kilometer automatic block signaling work has been completed so far on North Eastern Railway, which is a special achievement for the Railways.

Told that in the year 2025-26, a total of 36.64 km automatic block signaling work has been completed on this railway including Govindnagar-Tinich-Gaur-Babhnan (24.64 km) and Babhnan-Swami Narayan Chhapia (12 km) sections. CPRO said that with the completion of the automatic block signaling work of Babhnan-Swami Narayan Chhapia section, movement of maximum trains will be possible and line capacity will increase.

Apart from this, safety will be ensured along with improvement in punctuality of trains. The team of Chief Signal and Telecommunication Engineer ML Makwana has worked day and night in this work.
