Communication Assistant, Kasauli (Solan). Revised toll fee has been implemented at Sanwara Toll Plaza in Solan district, the entry point of Himachal Pradesh, from 12 midnight on Saturday night. NHAI has implemented new rates. Now traveling on four lanes has become expensive. Cars and small vehicles will now have to pay Rs 110 instead of Rs 70. It has been increased directly by Rs 40. The new rates have been fixed according to the category of vehicles, which include separate charges for one-way journey, return journey on the same day, monthly pass valid for fifty journeys and commercial vehicles registered in the district.

Fee for car, jeep and van fixed at Rs 110

According to the new toll rates, one-way journey fee for car, jeep, van and light motor vehicle has been fixed at Rs 110, return fee within 24 hours is Rs 165, monthly pass for fifty journeys has been fixed at Rs 3,675 and for commercial vehicles registered in the district, the fee has been fixed at Rs 55.

Light commercial vehicle will cost Rs 180

The one-way fee for light commercial vehicle, light goods vehicle or mini bus has been fixed at Rs 180, return fee at Rs 265, monthly pass at Rs 5,935 and Rs 90 for vehicles registered in the district.

Rs 375 fee for bus and truck

For buses and trucks (two axles), one-way fee will be Rs 375, return Rs 560, monthly pass Rs 12,440 and for commercial vehicles registered in the district, Rs 185 will have to be charged.

Three axle commercial vehicles will cost Rs 405

One-way fee for three axle commercial vehicles has been fixed at Rs 405, return fee at Rs 610, monthly pass at Rs 13,570 and for vehicles registered in the district at Rs 205.

These vehicles will be charged Rs 585

Similarly, for HCM, EME, MAV (four to six axle) vehicles, one-way fee will be Rs 585, return fee will be Rs 880, monthly pass will be Rs 19,510 and for vehicles registered in the district, the fee will be Rs 295.

The cost of a big vehicle will be Rs 710.

Whereas for oversized vehicles (seven or more axles), one-way fee of Rs 710, return fee of Rs 1,070, monthly pass of Rs 23,750 and Rs 355 for vehicles registered in the district have been fixed. Sanwara Toll Manager Amit Kumar said that all these revised rates have become effective from 12 noon on Saturday night.
