This action has been taken under Rakkad police station of Kangra district. The person has been found guilty of using abusive language against the Chief Minister and his relatives on the internet media. Surendra Kumar, a resident of Chauli, had circulated a video on the internet media account in which objectionable and indecent words were used for the Chief Minister and his relatives.
Truck driver arrested after video was published
After the video was broadcast, the police took cognizance of the matter and registered a case on Tuesday. After this, the police arrested the accused truck driver Surendra Kumar on Tuesday night at the Haryana border near Baddi and he will be produced in the court.
Many people downloaded the video that was removed from the account.
However, the accused later removed the video from his account, but before that the video was downloaded by hundreds of people. After registering an FIR regarding the video circulated by the police, he has been arrested.
What do police officers say?
Superintendent of Police Dehra Mayank Chaudhary said that the accused has been arrested. He will be presented in the court.
