Both are being prosecuted in a drug trafficking case. Last week Delsey Rodriguez was sworn in as Venezuela's interim president. After this, Trump had said that the interim administration of Venezuela will provide 30 to 50 million barrels of high quality oil to America at market price.
As president he will have control over the money, but it will be used for the benefit of the Venezuelan and American people. According to Reuters, top lawmaker Jorge Rodriguez said on Tuesday that more than 400 prisoners had been released. While the Trump administration said on Tuesday that many Americans detained in Venezuela have been released.
Trump crossed his limits - survey
According to AP, AP-NORC conducted a survey in America regarding the attack on Venezuela, in which more than half of the participants expressed disagreement with Trump's interference in other countries. 56 percent people feel that Trump has crossed the limits by intervening abroad militarily. Here, the Senate, the upper house of the US Parliament, is preparing to vote on a bill related to the President's powers regarding Venezuela.
America and Russia are destroying the international system
According to Reuters, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Wednesday accused America of destroying the international order. He said Washington launched an illegal campaign to remove Venezuelan leader Maduro and is now threatening Iran.
