Samvad Sutra, Katra (Shravasti). In Naveen Modern Shravasti area, on Saturday morning, two passenger buses collided head-on near the Indian Gas Agency on the Buddhist Circuit located in Katra Bypass. In this, 10 passengers including bus drivers from Rajasthan and Punjab, Ludhiana and Nepali citizens were injured.

In the morning, the double decker bus that had come from Rajasthan was returning to Ikauna after dropping the passengers at Balrampur. Then the high speed bus carrying 29 passengers from Haryana to Badhni in Siddharthnagar district went out of control due to the driver taking a nap and collided with a double decker bus coming from Balrampur on the Buddhist circuit located at Katra bypass.

It was fortunate that the other bus was saved from overturning in the ravine on the side, otherwise a major accident could have happened. The drivers of both the buses and seven Nepalese passengers of one bus were injured in the accident.

People nearby called an ambulance and took all the injured out of the bus and took them to Community Health Center Ikauna. Seeing the critical condition of the double-decker bus driver Ram Singh, resident of Bisenpur in Mauli area of ​​Rajasthan, the driver of the other bus, Happy Singh, resident of Prabhu Road, Punjab, and passenger Sant Bahadur, resident of Kalyanpur in Nepal, the doctors sent them to the Medical College, Bahraich.

Rudra Bahadur, resident of Salikot Nayagaon, Nepal, Bhanu Sharma and his wife Shanti Devi, resident of Ludhiana, Dhanipun, Punjab, Madhumaya, resident of Anandpur Colony Narwala Road, Ludhiana, Sher Bahadur, resident of Palpa Raina Devi, Nepal, Sunita of Ludhiana were treated and sent home by another bus.

Inspector Lal Saheb Singh, in-charge of Shravasti police station, said that after reaching the accident site, the damaged vehicles were removed from the road and traffic was restored. The causes of the accident are being investigated.
