Samvad Sutra, Mahmudabad, (Sitapur). A two-lane railway over bridge (ROB) is to be built at a cost of Rs 119.47 crore at the railway crossing on the Lucknow route. For this, the government has released the first installment of Rs 42 crore. With the construction of this overhead bridge, the road to Reusa, Tambor, Bahraich, Balrampur and Nepal will become easier. On 28 February 2025, it was announced that a two-lane V-shaped overhead bridge would be built at railway level crossing gate number 32 on Lucknow-Mahmudabad via Kursi route. State Government Deputy Secretary Ripunjay Gupta informed about the release of funds. He told that this is the first installment. With this, the construction of a 750 meter long overhead bridge will begin. After this the remaining amount will also be released.
