Government employees who do not declare their assets till January 31 will not get salary in February
State Bureau, Jagran, Lucknow. State employees and officers will have to compulsorily upload details of their movable and immovable assets on the Manav Sampada portal by January 31. Those who do not provide property details will not get their salary for the month of January in February.
In the order sent by Chief Secretary SP Goyal to all the heads of departments, heads of offices and government officials, it has been said that all the employees should register the details of their assets on the portal as per the rules by January 31.
It has been clarified in the government order that it is mandatory to give details of assets under Rule 24 of Uttar Pradesh Government Employees Conduct Rules, 1956.
It has also been said that those officers and employees who will not upload the details of movable and immovable property on the Manav Sampada Portal by the due date, their salary for the month of January will be withheld by the Withdrawal and Disbursement Officer.
Nodal officers and withdrawal-disbursement officers of the concerned departments have been instructed to ensure strict compliance. There are approximately 8.74 lakh personnel of all categories in the state. They have to give details of their acquired assets by December 31, 2025.
