Jagran correspondent, Rae Bareli. Preparations for the high school and intermediate examinations of UP Board are being finalized. Under this, the Secondary Education Council has created 107 centers to conduct the examination.
After the release of the final list of examination centres, emphasis is being laid on improving the arrangements. For this, all center administrators have been instructed to complete preparations. UP Board exams will run from 18 February to 12 March.
Practical examinations will be conducted in January. Earlier the proposal of 95 examination centers from the district was sent to the board. After disposal of the objections, the list of total 107 centers was finalized by including 12 additional centres.
Necessary steps are being taken at the centers regarding security, monitoring and convenience of the candidates. This year, 37 thousand 830 students have registered for the high school examination in the district, while 30 thousand 255 students will appear for the intermediate examination.
In this way, more than 68 thousand students will appear in the board examination. Pre board examination will be conducted in the second week of January. In this, children appearing for board exams will appear. This exam will last for about six days.
By organizing this, candidates will get a chance for pre-preparation. All the details will be known before the examination. District School Inspector Sanjeev Kumar Singh says that the examinations will be conducted at all the centers under the surveillance of CCTV cameras, so that the transparency and sanctity of the examination is maintained.
Also, instructions have been given to the center administrators that the candidates should not face any kind of inconvenience and the examinations should be conducted in a peaceful and orderly manner. Preparations at the departmental level regarding the board exams are in the final stages and responsibilities have been handed over to all the concerned officers.
