UP Board Exam: 4.69 Lakh Answer Sheets Arrived For 92 Thousand Candidates, Examinations Will Be Held From February 12

Jagran correspondent, Bareilly. Preparations for the high school and intermediate board examinations of Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council have intensified in the district. After the proposed practical examinations in the month of January, written examinations will be conducted from 12th February, which will continue till 18th March. All necessary preparations are being made at the administrative level to conduct the board examinations in a smooth and fair manner.

In this sequence, the first batch of answer sheets of UP Board exam has reached the district. The answer sheets of high school and intermediate have been kept safely in the storage room of Government Inter College. In view of security, answer sheets have been preserved in the warehouse under the surveillance of CCTV cameras.

According to officials, no carelessness will be taken regarding the security of answer sheets and strict monitoring is being maintained all the time. This year, a total of 130 examination centers have been set up for board exams across the district. A total of 92,135 high school and intermediate candidates will appear in the examination in the district.

This time the number of examination centers has also been increased as compared to last year. Last year, the examination was conducted at 125 examination centers in the district, in which 49,739 high school students and 45,088 intermediate students appeared. During the UP Board examination, about eight lakh answer sheets are required in the district including all the subjects.

According to officials, this time around 2.51 lakh answer sheets for Intermediate and 2.18 lakh for High School have reached the district so far. The remaining answer sheets will also be made available soon.

District School Inspector Dr. Ajit Kumar said that all the preparations for the board examination will be completed on time and necessary guidelines are being issued to conduct the examination in a peaceful, cheating-free and transparent manner.
