State Bureau, Lucknow. Major irregularities have come to light in the data of U-DISE and Manav Sampada Portal during the academic session 2025-26 in the state. Many council schools are still shown with zero teachers or only one teacher, whereas in previous years, teachers have been deployed there through transfer and new recruitment.
The department has ordered an investigation to fix this problem. On the basis of U-DISE data, schools which have been shown to have zero or single teacher in the session 2023-24, 2024-25 and 2025-26, will be inspected school-wise.
A team of expert officers has been formed to investigate. This includes Anand Prakash Shukla, Akanksha Rawat, Manish Kumar, Sunil Kumar Patel and Block Education Officer Santswana Shukla. This team will inspect schools in Bahraich, Balrampur, Ballia, Lakhimpur Kheri and Shahjahanpur districts.
During the investigation, the data of U-DISE and Manav Sampada Portal will be matched. Besides, reports will also be taken from the District Basic Education Officers of the respective districts. All the nominated officers have been instructed to submit their clear reports to the department within a week.
