Jagran correspondent, Modipuram. Transport Corporation is a companion of crisis in Uttar Pradesh. Roadways buses operated 24 hours a day in the Mahakumbh Mela-2025 of Prayagraj. Uttar Pradesh Government Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh said these things in his address.

The Transport Minister was the chief guest of the inaugural program of the two-day 20th tri-annual convention of Uttar Pradesh Roadways Employees Union organized under the banner of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh and Bharatiya Transport Mazdoor Federation at Agricultural University on Saturday.

Transport Minister said, Transport Corporation is a crisis partner in the state.

The triennial session was inaugurated by Ravindra Himmate, All India General Secretary of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh. Workers from 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh participated in the convention. Congratulated the organization on completion of 70 years. While addressing the gathering, chief guest Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh said that the Transport Corporation will not be privatized. By getting cooperation from the private sector, the bus stations of the Transport Corporation will be constructed on the lines of airports under the PPP model. Due to which the transport corporation can be strengthened along with increasing the facilities at the bus stations.

Buses operated 24 hours in Mahakumbh

The Minister said that when he became the Transport Minister, the bus fleet of the Transport Corporation was 8500, which has increased to 14000 today. The minister also said that the Chief Minister has called the Transport Corporation an ally of the crisis. Special guest, former MLA Sangeet Som, said in his address that the workers of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh work selflessly keeping in mind the interest of the nation, industry and public interest. It is my good fortune to solve the problems of employees.

Organization Minister of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Anupam said that any organization will serve continuously for 50 years only when each of its workers is disciplined. State General Secretary Anil Upadhyay welcomed the four labor codes implemented by the Central Government at the national level. Anil Kumar said that efforts will be made to resolve the problems of the employees presented in the convention by placing them before the Managing Director. District President of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh Vinay Sharma said that the provincial executive will also be announced on Sunday in the two-day convention. After that there will be closure. It was conducted by Bharat Bhushan and Satya Narayan Yadav. Anuj Sharma, Rajiv Tyagi, Chandrabhanu, Rakesh, Omprakash etc. were present.
