Jagran correspondent, Ghaziabad. SIR work of voter list of assembly elections is being done on the instructions of the Election Commission. The provisional publication of the voter list will be done on Tuesday at all the polling booths, tehsils as well as the district headquarters. District Election Officer Ravindra Kumar Mandad said that earlier the publication of the draft of the voter list was scheduled on January 1, but the Government of India has now decided to publish the draft of the voter list on January 6 by changing the earlier scheduled schedule.
After the publication of the draft, objections and claims will be received from January 6 to February 6. Objections and claims will be resolved by February 27, after which the final voter list will be published on March 6.
He said that during the time of objections and claims, the voters whose name is not included in the voter list can apply by filling Form No. 6 to get their name included in the voter list. Apart from this, if any voter wants to make amendments then he can also fill the form and submit it.
