He stopped the minister's car in the middle of the road, held his pistol to the glass and pressed the trigger, but did not fire. He also hit the glass several times with the pistol. When the security personnel came down, the attackers fled in the car. During this, the security personnel also fired in the air.
Former minister Madan Chauhan told the police that during the day he attended the program of Neh-Need organization organized in Brajghat. At around 9 pm, he was going to village Hiranpura on Meerut Road to attend an engagement ceremony. When he reached near the village, there were many cars parked on the side. Two youths were standing on the road, one of whom had two pistols in his hand. Suddenly a young man with a pistol appeared in the middle of the road. On which the driver of the former minister stopped the car.
On this, the young man holding the pistol pressed the trigger by placing the barrel on the glass, but the bullet did not fire. On this the attacker hit the glass several times with the barrel of the pistol.
Meanwhile, he moved his hand forward to fire the second pistol. By then the minister's security personnel got down from the car and warned the attackers and fired two shots in the air. Seeing this, both the youths ran away from the Fortuner car parked on the roadside. UP-14 digit car number was 8710, but the middle letters were missing. After informing the police, the minister immediately returned to his residence in the stronghold. Madan Chauhan said that he will give written information to the police in the morning. He has been a three-time MLA and once a minister from the Garh region. Nowadays he is in BJP.
Former minister Madan Chauhan has informed that an attempt was made to open fire by placing a pistol near his car. When the bullet did not fire, an attempt was made to break the glass with the pistol. No written complaint has been received yet. We are investigating the matter.
