According to senior meteorologist Atul Kumar Singh, an alert has been issued regarding extremely dense fog in the capital including Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Agra, Etawah, Bijnor, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly and surrounding areas on Wednesday and Thursday. Its impact will extend to more than 60 districts of the state.
Atul Kumar Singh told that the reason for sudden change in weather is snowfall on the mountains and westerly wind. In the next two days, the westerly wind will become stronger, due to which the minimum temperature may drop by two-three degrees Celsius. However, there is no possibility of any change in the day's mercury.
There is a possibility of dense fog in these districts
UP's Lakhimpur Kheri, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Rae Bareli, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Mathura, Lucknow, Kaushambi, Fatehpur, Pratapgarh, Sonbhadra, Gorakhpur, Deoria, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Balrampur, Chandauli, Fog will be dense in Varanasi, Bhadohi, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Shravasti, Badaun, Bahraich, Hathras, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Auraiya, Amroha, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Sambhal and surrounding areas.
