Digital Desk, New Delhi. Suddenly violence broke out in Chaumu of Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Here a ruckus broke out between two communities over the lifting of stones lying near the mosque.
The police reached the spot and tried to calm down the matter, but the dispute became so serious that the crowd started pelting stones at the police. Six policemen suffered head injuries in this incident. At present, heavy police force has been deployed in Chaumu and the situation has also come under control. Police have arrested 10 stone pelters in this case.
Jaipur West DCP Hanuman Prasad Meena said, "There is a Qalandari mosque here, where a dispute regarding encroachment was going on for a long time. One party voluntarily removed the encroachment, but some people tried to re-establish it permanently by installing iron angles. When we were removing these structures, some people threw stones at the police. We will take strict action against all those involved. At present, there is peace in the area."
Violence broke out in Chaumu
A dispute broke out over the removal of stones lying outside a mosque near the bus stand in Chaumu, 40 km from Jaipur. This incident took place at 3 am on the night of 25 to 26 December, due to which tension spread in Chomu at midnight.
Jaipur Police used tear gas to bring the situation under control. At the time of this incident, senior police officers also reached the spot.
Internet services have been temporarily suspended in Chaumu from 7:00 am on 26 December to 7:00 am on 27 December. This step has been taken to calm this matter.

What is the whole matter?
According to media reports, stones were lying on the roadside near the religious place for about 45 years. To improve the traffic system in Chaumu, the work of removing these stones is going on, after which a situation of tension has arisen in the area.
The administration had also talked to community representatives related to this incident. Only after mutual consent in this matter, the administration started the work of removing these stones in the area.
The work of removing stones was also completed in this area of Chaumu. But as soon as the work of installing railing was started here, some people objected to it and started protesting. This protest of the people took the form of violence.
