Former Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Harish Rawat.

State Bureau, Jagran, Dehradun: Even though former Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Harish Rawat is not seen directly active in the State Congress, he always remains in the headlines with his statements.

This time he said that I am there, which means that Tiger is still alive. Taking aim at BJP, he said that Harish Rawat still has enough power to destroy BJP. If there is even a slight change in the wind, we will see that BJP will be defeated badly in Uttarakhand.

In an informal meeting with journalists at his private residence on Friday, former Chief Minister Rawat also targeted BJP regarding MNREGA.

He said that as far as Ram is concerned, he is a devotee of Bhaktavatsal King Ram and belongs to Raghuvanshi. The biggest devotee of Ram in the world was Mahatma Gandhi. Who gave the country an invaluable hymn like Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram.

He said that Ram has always put his devotees first and BJP is erasing the name of his devotee. The former Chief Minister said that in independent India, someone had imagined that there would be a scheme in the name of Mahatma Gandhi and it would be abolished.

By changing the name of MNREGA, BJP is not only ending the name of Mahatma Gandhi but is also ending the concept of village government.
