Jagran correspondent, Muzaffarpur. Bihar Crime News: Excise Department team arrested two businessmen with a liquor laden Bolero from Harpali in Siwaipatti, Muzaffarpur. Both are brother-in-law and brother-in-law.

The businessmen have been identified as Shravan Kumar of Lachipur and Sanjay Kumar of Siwaipatti Harpali in Haiderganj police station of Ayodhya district of Uttar Pradesh. 624 tetra pack bottles of Uttar Pradesh manufactured liquor were recovered from the Bolero.

Giving the above information, Product Inspector Deepak Kumar Singh said that after receiving secret information, surveillance was being done in Harpali with the team. Meanwhile, Patna number Bolero stopped at the house of businessman Sanjay Kumar.

Then the team raided and caught both of them. Inquiries were started, but no concrete information was found. Even after searching the Bolero, nothing was recovered. After about half an hour of effort, when the back light was opened, liquor was recovered from it.

The officers were shocked and then the liquor was seized by opening the secret box in the Bolero from under the seat cover to the lower part of the engine. The excise inspector said that efforts are being made to interrogate the arrested businessmen and send them to jail.

Brother and many vehicles were seized with liquor in the past

He told that recently Shravan's brother was arrested with a car laden with liquor and sent to jail. Earlier, many of their vehicles have also been caught with liquor.

During interrogation, it was found that in Salemgarh, UP, this gang makes intelligence boxes in the vehicles used in smuggling. Then it fills triple packs of liquor and supplies it to different districts.

This time too, with the same preparation, Sanjay had reached his home with liquor from UP. Meanwhile, the team took action and caught both of them.
