Due to the absence of a drain near Bela Mod, the dirty water from the nearby houses remains accumulated on the road throughout the year. The road has become so dangerous that most of the people traveling through it become victims of accidents, but till date no one has taken the initiative to repair this road.
It is worth noting that in October last year, the work of constructing about 900 meters of road from Imli Chowk to Bela Mod started, but the water logged area was abandoned. The most surprising thing is that this road was constructed by the Road Construction Department, but the department officials are not even aware of the construction work. The situation is such that even the half-built road has started disintegrating at many places within just three months.
Left pitching till Ramkripal Nagar locality
The work of constructing road for about 900 meters from Imli Chowk to Bela Mod started. Half of it was completed, but it was abandoned after pitching till Ramkripal Nagar locality. Wherever left, the water pipeline under the Jalnal Yojana has burst. Due to this, there has been a pothole on the road due to water logging there. Ward-49 councilor Pinky Sah has demanded an investigation from the district administration.
Road construction department does not know when the road was built
Here, Executive Engineer of Road Construction Department, Ganesh ji said that it is not known whether the pitching of Bela-Rohua Road took place last month, but that road has been built by the Road Construction Department itself. Budco will build a drain on the north side of the road and the Road Construction Department will build a road with a drain on the south side of the road. After that the situation of water logging near Bela Mod will end. He said that an estimate of expenditure of more than Rs 14 crore has been prepared on this.
