Jagran correspondent, Patna. In Bihar, the temperature of 12 districts including the capital has dropped. Due to the difference of only two degrees between maximum and minimum temperature in Patna, there was a shiver like night even during the day (Cold Wave in Bihar). The minimum temperature was recorded at 12.6 degrees Celsius and the maximum at 14.7.
At the same time, cold day like conditions with fog are prevailing in 28 districts and will continue on Tuesday also. There is a possibility of severe cold with cold westerly wind in the state on January 1 of the New Year. There is no possibility of any significant change in temperature during four to five days. Araria Forbesganj was the coldest in the state at 8.4 degrees Celsius on Monday.
On Monday, a decline was recorded in the maximum temperature of 12 districts of the state including Patna. The maximum temperature in the state was recorded between 13.2 to 18.7 degrees Celsius. On Monday, there was cloudy sky in Patna and surrounding areas and even for the ninth day, the effect of sunlight reduced and people felt chill.
Cold day conditions persisted in Forbesganj and Nalanda of Bihar. The lowest visibility was recorded in Purnia at six hundred meters. The minimum temperature in the state was recorded between 8.4 to 13.5 degrees Celsius.

Note: Severe cold continues in Bihar. The maximum temperature has also remained below 15°C. The lowest minimum temperature recorded in Gaya was 10.6°C. Be careful of fog and cold wave, wear warm clothes.
