Jagran correspondent, Moradabad. Advocates will protest on December 17 by closing the market demanding the Western Uttar Pradesh High Court bench. Advocates have completed its preparations. On Monday, under the leadership of Bar President Anand Mohan Gupta, the advocates reached the market and sought support from the traders. Officials of various business organizations and social and political parties have also supported the bandh.

Moradabad bandh has been proposed on 17 December on the call of Central Struggle Committee demanding establishment of High Court bench in Western Uttar Pradesh. For which the advocates are busy in preparations. The advocates' bandh is also getting support from the city's businessmen, employee organizations and political parties.

Bar President Anand Mohan Gupta said that on Monday he roamed the streets of the city with the advocates. Advocates started a public relations campaign from the court. After which they reached back to the court via Court Road, Gurhatti Square, Tadikhana Bazaar, GMD Road, Budh Bazaar Square, Town Hall, Kotwali, Neem Ka Pyau, Bazaar Ganj.

During this, the advocates appealed to the residents of the city to support the Moradabad bandh on 17th December demanding the establishment of a High Court bench. General Secretary Kapil Gupta, Gopal Dwivedi, Adesh Srivastava, Pradeep Thakur, Sumil Mishra and other advocates were involved.

Tax bar associations also supported

The three Tax Bar Associations of Moradabad have shown solidarity and supported the bandh regarding the proposed movement in support of the establishment of a High Court bench in Western Uttar Pradesh. The movement was discussed in detail in the joint meeting held in the Faculty Room, State Tax Office, Ramganga Vihar.

In the meeting, it was decided on behalf of The Moradabad Taxation Bar Association, Tax Bar Association and Zonal Tax Bar Association to extend full support to The Bar Association and Library in the movement. Also, a complete work boycott was announced on 17th December.

Mohit Aggarwal, Deepak Aggarwal, KK Sharma, GP Mehrotra, Rakesh Kumar Sharma, Mohit Aggarwal, KK Sharma, Ashok Tyagi, Syed Arif Ali, Vineet Kishore Jain, Rajeev Tandon, Anuj Gupta, Prateek Goyal, Deepak Kumar Gupta etc. were present in the meeting.

Apna Dal also supported

Under the leadership of Mandal President of Apna Dal Kamerawadi, Dr. Rameshwar Dayal Turaiha, officials and workers handed over a letter of support to Bar President Anand Mohan Gupta and gave full cooperation and support to the Moradabad Bandh on 17 December for the establishment of a High Court bench in Western Uttar Pradesh. During this time Babu Khan, Dharmendra Kashyap, Pradeep Sagar, Ashok Yadav, Mukesh Kashyap etc. were present.

High Court bench is very necessary in the West

The meeting of Generalist Association Paschimanchal was held at its headquarters in Ramganga Vihar. In which State President Naresh Bhardwaj said that Western Uttar Pradesh Advocate Sangharsh Samiti has been demanding a High Court bench for a long time. This demand is not limited to any one section or district, but is related to the people of entire western Uttar Pradesh.

It is difficult for common people to go to Prayagraj from districts like Agra, Meerut, Sambhal and Moradabad to plead cases. This wastes both time and money and also causes many other problems in travelling.

State Vice President Amit Goyal, District General Secretary Deepak Kapoor, Vinay Gupta, Satish Aggarwal, Deepak Kapoor, Bhavesh Sharma, Veerbhan Singh, Sunil Sharma, Mohit Sharma, Anuj Bishnoi, Akash Vishnoi, Vivek Nirmal, Manoj Sharma, Sanju Gautam, Omkar Sharma etc. were included.

Traders put up banners of support at shops

On Monday, traders put up banners supporting the bandh outside their shops demanding the establishment of a Western High Court bench. Banners are put up outside many shops in the market.
