The injured has been identified as Adil of Chauhan Bangar. The police have admitted the victim to a nearby hospital. Based on the statement of the victim, the police have registered a case and are trying to identify the absconding accused.
According to North Eastern District Police Deputy Commissioner Ashish Mishra, Jafrabad police station had received information about firing on Brahmapuri Road on Tuesday afternoon. Police reached the spot and admitted the injured Adil to the nearby Jag Pravesh Hospital.
Where his treatment continues. Adil told that when he was passing through the street of Pooja Public School, two miscreants tried to snatch his mobile phone. When he protested, the miscreants shot him and fled from the spot.
Police called crime and forensic team on the spot. The team collected evidence from there. Police have registered a case on Adil's statement. Police have captured the footage of CCTV cameras around the incident site. The police is busy identifying the miscreants captured in the footage.
