Samvad Sutra, Jagran Muzaffarnagar. In a village in Meerapur area, a woman committed suicide by hanging herself after her husband did not get her a new mobile phone. The woman's husband works as a clothes hawker and for this work he has gone to Orissa.

Due to this incident, the condition of his two year old son is in distress. Police have sent the body for post-mortem. Kanti Prasad, daughter-in-law of Premo, resident of village Khedi Sarai, told that her son Ashish had a love marriage with 24-year-old Radhika alias Khushnuma three years ago.

One and a half month ago, Ashish had gone to Orissa in connection with clothes hawking. On Thursday evening, Radhika spoke to her husband on phone and asked for Rs 10,000 to buy a new mobile phone. Ashish sent Rs 2,000 and assured to get the phone after a few days.

On Friday morning, when mother-in-law Premo had gone to the forest, at around 11 o'clock Radhika went to the animal enclosure and committed suicide by hanging a rope from the roof gable. Two-year-old Vansh kept crying continuously when his mother was not seen, then neighbor Usha tried to calm the child and searched for Radhika.

Radhika was found hanging, seeing which Usha screamed. On receiving the information, CO Rupali Rai, Naib Tehsildar Ajay Singh and Inspector Rajiv Sharma reached the spot. The body has been sent for post-mortem. Inspector Rajiv Sharma told that the deceased was asking for a new mobile phone from her husband. Ashish has been informed about the incident.
