Digital Desk, Greater Noida. The heart-wrenching accident that took place in Sector-150 of Noida has shocked the entire state. Software engineer Yuvraj lost his life due to negligence of the entire system.
CM Yogi also took cognizance of this incident and the government took action and removed Noida Authority CEO Dr. Lokesh M and put him on waiting list. At the same time, such a truth has come to light regarding this accident, knowing which everyone is surprised.
According to news agency PTI, the Uttar Pradesh Irrigation Department had written a letter to the Noida Authority three years ago. Through which official information was issued, it was said that there is a need to install head regulator in the pit for draining excess rain water and flowing it into Hindon river. Because the head regulator controls the flow of water and prevents accumulation of excess silt in the drain or canal.
This letter from the Irrigation Department also mentioned that budget provision was made for the proposed work, but the letter got lost in the files and the project was never started.
At the same time, in this matter, an official of Noida Authority told news agency PTI that he was not aware of any such letter. The officer also said that where the engineer's car is submerged in water, it is not rain water but water from nearby houses that accumulates.
Yuvraj lost his life due to lack of coordination between two departments
In Greater Noida, a software engineer lost his life due to the lack of coordination and administrative coordination between the two departments and the resulting negligence. In the year 2023, Noida Authority had claimed that the work of laying sewer line in Sector-150 at a cost of Rs 4.30 crore has been completed, but the reality was far from this.
