Police are investigating the mobile phone recovered after the shooting. In five years, it has blackmailed not only the common man but also 165 people including CO and Inspector. She used to talk to people through messenger. Then she would make video calls and make their videos. After this, she used to extort lakhs of rupees by threatening to file fake cases like rape. Recently it had implicated a city inspector, after receiving the threat, a panchayat was held for hours to reach a settlement. He released the inspector after taking a thick gold chain.
Police investigation revealed that 15 policemen including the CO posted in Ayodhya have fallen prey to Anshika. After receiving the threat, everyone made a transaction and settled the matter. However, when higher officials came to know about this matter, action was also taken against some of them.
Between 2021 and 2025, Anshika filed three cases in Sant Kabir Nagar and one case in Harpur Budhat police station of Gorakhpur under rape, POCSO Act and other serious sections and later recovered money in the name of reconciliation. First of all, in the year 2021, it had filed a case against a village resident of Harpur-Budhat police station under rape, intimidation and POCSO Act.
Later, lakhs of rupees were taken in the name of reconciliation. After this, in the year 2023, she started living in a rented house in Kotwali Khalilabad area of Sant Kabir Nagar. When the landlord's wife gave an application to the SP against this. Told that people keep coming and going to the tenant of his house till late night. Then after a few days the landlord installed CC cameras in the house. After this Anshika vacated his house. Then, after a few days, a case was filed against the landlord in the police station. Demanded Rs 2 lakh in the name of reconciliation. The landlord had to go to jail for not paying.
Met in jail, asked for money, filed case again after coming out
Anshika had filed a case against five including the landlord for assault, threat, abuse, rape and POCSO Act. In this matter, she even went to jail to meet the landlord and there too she demanded money but the landlord refused to give it. Then after a few months, when he came out of jail, Anshika filed the case again after a week. He filed a case against another youth from Sant Kabir Nagar and then recovered Rs 50 thousand. The youth's father had complained about this on the Chief Minister portal. The police is investigating the matter
