Digital Desk, New Delhi. The weather patterns in the country are constantly changing. There are still chances of snowfall on the mountains. If we look at it, summer seems to be beginning in the plains. But due to rain and snowfall in the hilly states, the weather trend may change.
While there is a possibility of snowfall in the mountains, a warning has been issued regarding strong winds in the sea areas. The Meteorological Department says that the weather is changing rapidly in February. Different types of weather can be found in different areas of the country.
The Meteorological Department has warned the people of hilly areas to remain alert due to snowfall and rain. The department has appealed that before traveling somewhere, know about the weather there.
There is a possibility of snowfall in the mountains
According to the report of the Meteorological Department, fluctuations in weather are being seen in North-East India. With the onset of the subtropical westerly jet stream, winds may blow at a speed of 12-14 kilometers per hour from west to east in the upper troposphere.
There is a possibility of rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Muzaffarabad between 13 and 16 February. There may also be snowfall in the higher altitude areas. There is a possibility of rain in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand also on 16 and 17 February.
Light rain may occur in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh on 13-14 February. Jammu and Kashmir will remain cloudy from 15 to 18 February, due to which the temperature may drop.
Heat will increase in Delhi
The afternoon weather has started becoming hot in Delhi NCR. There is slight coolness in the morning and evening. But this heat may increase further in the next few days. The coolness will also reduce in the morning and evening.
The weather in Delhi will remain clear for the next few days, due to which there may be strong sunshine. However, there will be a difference between day and night weather.
Warning of strong winds at sea
The weather may remain dry in the southern region of India. There is a possibility of strong winds in the coastal areas. It may also rain at some places. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for fishermen and people going into the sea.
