MS Dhoni will have to deposit Rs 10 lakh

This order has been given to Dhoni in the spot fixing case that happened in 2013. Although Dhoni stays away from social media, but now this matter has once again brought him into the limelight. Actually, this matter is from the time when Dhoni was the captain of Chennai Super Kings and his name was raised in the case of fixing.
Dhoni had reached the court after seeing his name in the fixing case and filed a defamation claim of Rs 100 crore. Let us tell you that during a debate on a TV show, retired IPS officer Sampat Kumar had alleged that Dhoni was also involved in the fixing of 2013 and that is why the former Indian captain had filed a defamation case.
High court ordered to deposit Rs 10 lakh
While filing the defamation case, Dhoni had submitted some CDs to the court as evidence. In this, IPS officer Sampat was accusing Dhoni. However, the court will hire a translator and typist to get it translated, which will take a total time of three months. In such a situation, the court has ordered Dhoni to deposit Rs 10 lakh for its expenses. The former Indian captain will have to deposit this money in the court before March 12.
While hearing this case which has been going on since 2014, Justice RN Manjula has described it as very challenging. He says that the CD of the current debate and news clippings is in Hindi. In such a situation, it may take 3 to 4 months for the translator to translate and the typist to type. Dhoni will have to deposit Rs 10 lakh for its expenses.
Everyone in India is aware of Dhoni's popularity and keeping this in mind the court has given him liberty to appear in person. The court has appointed an advocate commissioner to record Dhoni's statement. Apart from this, to start the trial of the case, it is necessary to translate all the documents and the court has ordered Dhoni to bear the cost of this.
