Jagran correspondent, outer Delhi. The body of a woman was found hanging under suspicious circumstances in a room of a flat in Mukherjee Nagar in outer Delhi on the evening of December 31. Mukherjee Nagar police station arrived on information and broke the door of the room and entered inside. The investigation has been started after taking possession of the dead body.
The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Riya Chaudhary. Who was a resident of Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. Police investigation revealed that the deceased was married and had a four-year-old son. Who was living separately from her husband for the last three years. Stayed here in a male friend's room for three days. Police say that no suicide note has been found from the spot.
The police officer said that the woman was living in this flat located in Mukherjee Nagar for three days. This flat has been taken on rent by a student from Mathura, who is preparing for SSC by staying here. Both knew each other already. Both of them became friends through Facebook. During investigation, it was revealed that the grandmother of the deceased's friend had cancer. Due to grandmother's ill health, the friend had gone to Mathura on Saturday itself.
On December 31, when the student called the woman on the death of her grandmother, she was not picking up the phone. In such a situation, the young man asked a friend to go to his room and talk to the woman. When the friend left, it was found that the gate of the room was locked from inside. When I looked through the glass above the gate, I saw that the woman was hanging from a noose. Immediately informed the police about this.
Police reached the spot after receiving information and found that the gate of the flat was locked from inside. A woman is hanging from a noose in a room. This information was given to FSL and crime team. The team that reached the information collected many evidences. Police are investigating by taking the woman's mobile phone into their possession.
